Our Mission
The Crossthreads Fiberworks Guild, a South Dakota fiber guild, is dedicated to the education, communication, and promotion of fiber arts education in the region. As a nonprofit organization, the Crossthreads Fiberworks Guild of South Dakota plays a vital role in fostering community and creativity within the fiber arts.
What We Do

We celebrate all fiber arts through the Crossthreads Fiberworks Guild. Each member has their favorites and engages in various fiber arts education, including knitting, weaving, spinning, felting, crocheting, tatting, dyeing fiber, book binding, raising fiber animals, and more. We share skills, discuss, and demonstrate new ideas alongside old traditions.
Guild members participate in events to educate and promote fiber arts in South Dakota. We also offer events for both members and the public.
Meetings
Join Us. The Crossthreads Fiberworks Guild, a supportive community focused on fiber arts education, meets the second Tuesday of every month. Check our calendar of events for locations in Sioux Falls, SD. Membership is open to everyone interested in our purpose, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, citizenship status, socioeconomic status, religion, gender identity, or political persuasion.
